From one room and a hot meal to a movement of safety
It began with one site
A tragic fall at a construction site pushed us to act. We rented a single room nearby, laid out floor mats, brought in toys and hired one teacher and one cook.
Children found their way
Within days, children began slipping into that room — first shy, then curious. They came for the food, stayed for the stories and slowly started to learn.
Builders opened their doors
Some builders saw the change and offered spare rooms on-site. With partners, we set up more centres walking distance from where parents worked.
From survival to dreams
Today, children who once picked scrap to buy biscuits talk about becoming nurses, teachers, drivers, and artists
